Your Shopify invoices will include value added tax (VAT) starting December 31, 2021
Shopify is required to collect value added tax (VAT) in Chile. Since your business address is in Chile, starting December 31, 2021, your Shopify invoices will include the corresponding VAT. However, your Shopify invoices may be exempt from this tax if you are registered in Chile and enter a valid tax identifier (RUT).
